He studied at the Conservatory in Brno. He continued his studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague in the master class of Daniel Veis. During his studies he actively participated in many string courses not only in the Czech Republic but also abroad (Holland, Germany). He participated in workshops of leading cello teachers such as J.M. Gamard (Paris).

He is engaged in performing chamber music. He attended the events that were part of the European exchange program SOCRATES (e.g. scholarship at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and at the Scholl of the Arts in Utrecht). He also worked under the guidance of A. Moravec, who was a long-time member of the Moravian Quartet. He recorded Verdi´s Quartet E minor and Leos Janacek´s Intimate Letters (Intime Briefe) for the Bavarian Radio.

He had several solo concerts, including concerts with the orchestra. He played the Concerto in C Major by Joseph Haydn with the Moravian Chamber Orchestra. He performed the Double Concerto in A minor by Johannes Brahms with the orchestra of European universities (conducted by Hirochi Koda) and it was recorded by the Bavarian Radio.

Between the years 2002 and 2006 he was an internal player in the prestigious orchestra PKF – Prague Philharmonia. Since 2006 he has been an outside member there. Since 2010 he has worked as a performer in the ensemble Konvergence which presents contemporary classical music. He travelled over most European countries, the USA, Japan, Korea and Jordan. He records for the Czech Radio and the Czech Television.
